We’re thrilled to announce that we’re entering into a new relationship with our friends at Branar Theatre Company, with two exciting new initiatives in 2018.
Branar will be on-site at the centre more than ever as we become their production hub for upcoming tours. What does this mean for our audiences? Great opportunities to see even more work from one of Ireland’s leading children’s theatre companies.
In February Branar will spend a week here re-rehearsing their latest show, Oliver Jeffers “How to Catch a Star” in advance of its appearance at the Belfast Festival. But before they head off, they’ll be taking to our stage for performances on February 17th.
Tiny Shows: Hatch Programme
Developed by Branar, “Tiny Shows” provides practitioners with the space and time to experiment and explore ideas for shows for young audiences at Branar’s Galway home over the course of a weekend.
In 2018, Roscommon Arts Centre in association with Branar, will invite a number of Tiny Shows participants to spend a further two week development period at the centre as we support the “hatching” of their ideas into shows…..Watch this Space!
