Artist Cafe: Meet Disrupt Disability Arts Festival at Roscommon Arts Centre
Disrupt Disability Arts Festival is a vibrant celebration of disability art, curated by and for the disability community which takes place annually in March.
We would like to invite disabled artists or groups in the region to meet and ask how Disrupt can support them as well as the Arts Centre.
We’re looking to host a gathering on Friday 16th of May before the launch event at 6pm of “I want to ask a question”, an exhibition by David Parnell event or the following day on Saturday 17th.
More information on the exhibition:
Roscommon Arts Centre in partnership with Disrupt Disability Arts Festival, is delighted to present ‘I Want To Ask A Question’, a solo exhibition by David Parnell, a recent collection of digital, rhythmic poetry by David.
The artworks utilises eye gaze technology to craft original arrangements that visually compose words: the pace invites viewers to think things through with the artist.
The exhibition has audio description, captions and a Know Before You Go available
