One of the most  renowned and recognised artists of his era, Roderic O’Conor (1860-1940) is the subject of a conference to be held, for the first time, in his native County Roscommon .The conference will feature a range of presentations, dealing with the many aspects of the life and career of O’Conor, by a  list of expert international, national and local speakers, lecturers and  art historians. The conference is a unique occasion and wonderful opportunity not to be missed.

The conference Opening Reception takes place at Clonalis House on Friday 23rd September at 6.30pm.

There will be a full day of conference proceedings taking place at Roscommon Arts Centre on Saturday 24th September.
