As part of our mini season of Spring events, we’ve invited our 2020 Dancer in Residence Mintesinot Wolde to create a weekly series of chair-based movement classes for older people. Combining gentle moves with easy to follow instructions, these short sessions (10 – 15 minutes) can be repeated daily, with new moves added every Wednesday online here for you to follow along to.
sit on a kitchen-type chair that has good support
a chair with arm rests is ideal
remove any cushions as they can be a slip hazard
place the chair close to a table for comfort
wear supportive footwear and comfortable clothing
have a glass of water to hand
turn up the volume and enjoy!
