Rory Duffy announced as Words Ireland Mentee with Roscommon Arts Centre

Roscommon Art Centre are delighted to announce that Rory Duffy has been selected to receive mentorship under the Words Ireland National Mentoring Programme supported by Roscommon Arts Centre and the Arts Council Ireland.
Rory Duffy writes short stories and poetry and has had work published in several journals and anthologies including Southword, Crannog, The Stony Thursday Book, A New Ulster, Skylight 47, Boyne Berries & The Cormorant. Shortlisted in Cuirt, Sean O’Faoláin, PJ O’Connor, Frances MacManus 2016 & 2020, Bath Short Story Award, among others. In 2017 Rory was nominated for a ZeBBie Award.
Rory is one of 41 writers chosen to receive mentorship under Words Ireland’s National Mentoring Programme which sees mentees paired with writers of their choosing over the coming 8 months to develop and complete adult and YA novels, short fiction and poetry collections, and children’s books.
