Join Roscommon Comedian, Cathal Shanagher for a fun, interactive comedy workshop event where young people (ages 13-18) will explore the world of stand-up and performance.

The event will include a brief history of stand-up comedy, stand-up comedy basics, and sketch writing, all designed to encourage creativity, confidence, and collaboration.
Participants will get hands-on experience in crafting jokes, delivery, and performing in front of their peers with a focus on Stand-up techniques, comedic timing, and collaborative sketch writing.

The event will end in a Showcase Performance time where participants will have the chance to present some of their work to an audience making it a memorable experience.
What makes this event special is its focus on participation and creativity—every young person will have the opportunity to develop their unique comedic style and bring their ideas to life. Participants will gain confidence, improve communication skills, and have a fantastic time!
