LIVE Network is inviting proposals for a tour, in the autumn/winter of 2024/2025 visiting 4 of the network’s venues:

Backstage Theatre, Longford

Droichead Arts Centre, Drogheda

Ramor Theatre, Virginia, Cavan

Roscommon Arts Centre, Roscommon

About LIVE Network: LIVE Network was founded in 2018 as a pilot project with Words Ireland, led by Dani Gill, to stimulate literary development outside of main cities and the festival circuit. The project engages with regional venues and has six members across six counties: The Backstage Theatre (Longford), Roscommon Arts Centre, The Riverbank Arts Centre(Newbridge, Kildare), The Source Arts Centre (Thurles, Tipperary), The Droichead Arts Centre (Drogheda, Louth) and The Ramor Theatre (Virginia, Cavan). LIVE Network focuses on audience development through bespoke projects, workshops, online events and collaborations with writers and literary makers.

What we are looking for:

The network seeks an event that is collaborative and entertaining for audiences. Proposals should have considered elements of live performance. We would like to see music/literature combinations but we are also open to other presentations that may include other artforms such as theatre/dance/circus/other. The chosen piece needs to be performed at the four venues listed above, on dates between October 2024 and March 2025. These dates will be chosen in collaboration with the venues.

Budget: €12,000 for 4 performances

LIVE Network will also supply marketing support to the presenter via websites, social media, and local PR to the value of €3,000. Other supports: LIVE Network Producer Dani Gill will liaise with the artist/presenter on behalf of the network.
