During this residency dancer/actress Isolde Ó’Brolchaín Carmody and aerialist Robin Cara will be working with Undercurrent director Kate Wilson to develop the performance material for their upcoming show Between Earth & Sky. With guided improvisations and transdisciplinary reflection processes they will explore personal narratives and methods for resisting culturally constructed images of young and older women, able/disabled bodies. Between Earth & Sky will be premiered at Roscommon Arts Centre on the 9th of April. Undercurrent will also host an inclusive workshop as part of their residency inviting participants to connect through the arts in dance, movement and cross arts play in a relaxed inclusive environment.
