In an Open Call, artists living in Roscommon and its bordering counties – Galway, Leitrim, Longford, Mayo, Offaly, Sligo and Westmeath – were invited to respond to the theme of the changing seasons – in particular the transition from Autumn (Lúnasa) into Winter (Samhain), the celebration of Halloween and the fading light at this time of year.

Eamonn Maxwell is a curator and has curated significant exhibitions by leading international and Irish artists including the Irish Pavilion at the Venice Biennale.
Previous roles have included:
Collection Advisor for The Arts Council, Director of Lismore Castle Arts and Inaugural University Curator at University of the Arts London.
Ireland.
