Raquel will create a short story performing through physical theatre, simple sentences and imagery and invites families to join in. Unleash your creativity exploring body language, identifying universal language and creating a special bond with your child through the magic of physical theatre and imagery. While the workshops will be guided in English, we encourage families to embrace their home languages. Raquel speaks many languages including English, Spanish, Italian, French and we look forward to hearing which languages you can speak. Roscommon Arts Centre is delighted to partner with Mother Tongues to deliver these early years workshops for families and create professional development opportunities for artists in the region. Raquel Montero Calero, is a multidisciplinary artist from Cordoba, Spain, based in Ireland since 2016. This workshops series is part of the award-winning Language Explorers programme and are suitable for ages 3 – 6.
